What will I learn in the twelve weeks?
Being a Small Stepper is an approach to healthy and happy living. In this twelve-week program, I’ll teach you how to live your life as a small stepper. You’ll learn both how to build and maintain a steps list and real-life practical tools to negotiate parties, trips, the workplace, family, as a healthy/happy person. Once you’ve completed the program, you’ll be equipped with the tools and mind-set to continue with your Small Step “practice” for the rest of your life!
You’re a nutritionist, so is there a food/diet component to Small Steppers?
Yes, in so far as I teach you how to approach food as a small stepper. During the live Q&A’s, I answer specific questions about diet and fitness, but the goal of Small Steppers is to help you understand that living happy and healthy is a much, much bigger picture than just what you eat or how many calories you burn in a gym.
How much time will I have to spend on the program during the twelve weeks? Will this take over my life?
This program will definitely NOT take over your life! The time requirement is super minimal—often no more than a few minutes tops per day. I teach people that it’s about the moments in our lives and how to “steal moments” throughout our day to re-connect, re-ground, and calm before we jump back into work, family, travel etc. The total time of these moments is very small, but the overall effect on your life is massive. Any program that requires someone to make major adjustments to their lives in a short time period is setting that person up for failure (and why, for example, diets and other quick fixes fail long term–people take on too much at once).
What makes Small Steppers different from other subscription programs that offer diet and fitness coaching?
Small Steppers teaches people that living well is first and foremost about the way you think and learning how to treat yourself with kindness and respect. Diet and fitness programs may or may not come later. For me, it starts with two questions most of us don’t really ever ask: Who am I really, and what kind of life do I actually want? Once you get clearer on both, as a Small Stepper, you’ll really know where you want to go, how to get there and, most importantly, how to stay there for the rest of your life.
Will there be a members-only Facebook forum?
If there is substantial interest, I will create a private Facebook forum for members. Because there are weekly live Q&A’s, members will get the group experience, plus personal guidance! Stay tuned….
What if I want to continue after the twelve-week program?
This site is 100% NOT designed to lock you in. However, I’m also very aware that additional time/help may be needed, so I’ve designed the program to allow anyone who has completed the full twelve-week program to jump back in at any time on a month-to-month basis (no contract), with the ability to cancel at any time. In other words, at some point in the future, if you go through a big life change–e.g., new job, a move, a baby–you can sign up for the “Stay in the Game” option for a month at at time, have access to all the videos, get the daily e-mail reminders, join in the live Q&A’s, and then get back to Small Stepping!
What is your refund policy?
I don’t want anyone in the program who isn’t happy being here, so I offer a prorated refund (meaning that if you cancel after four weeks you’ll be refunded only for the eight remaining weeks). To be clear—Small Steppers is about learning a new way to think and approach your life–NOT about losing ten pounds in twenty-one days or increasing how many miles you can run. Incredible results DO happen, but only if you’re in it for the long haul. There are a ton of online programs offering super quick weight gain, weight loss, fitness gains–this just isn’t one of them. I want to do everything in my power to ensure that everyone knows exactly what they’re signing up for, so please e-mail support@smallsteppers.com if you have further questions. Thanks!
